I can usually imagine a single moment pretty clearly, but when it comes to how everything connects (camera movement, timing, flow between shots), it gets a lot harder.
It feels like there’s always a gap between the idea in my head and how it would actually look as a full sequence.
So recently I started experimenting with rough video drafts just to “think visually” before building anything properly.
Mainly things like:
- testing how different shots connect
- trying camera movement ideas
- exploring pacing between scenes
- seeing if a concept actually works visually
I tried using this tool for a few experiments, and it was actually pretty useful for this kind of early-stage thinking.
It’s not really about generating a final video — more like helping structure ideas so they make sense before committing to them.
What surprised me is that it handled multi-shot flow and consistency better than I expected, especially when trying to keep scenes connected.
Curious how others approach this — do you sketch things out first, or just build directly from the idea?
