I was also recovering from a broken leg and this physically slowed me down...being debilitated will depress any person for sure!
So, I was anxious to get healed up and I started doing the Star Exercise again. The Star Exercise is the very first post on this ORACLE. I did this exercise twice a day and went to work and did everything I could to prevent sitting around. You just have to keep moving. Don’t go to bed.....go lay on the couch in front the TV....lay on the floor in a sunbeam in front the TV....then move the TV to the back patio or front porch and lay there and watch TV... but don’t sleep! Work your way out of that bed room and into the sunlight and do that Star Exercise and you will slowly get your energy back. Blackberry tea or just eating blackberries will bring back the “get up and go” in you!
I agree with Bob whole heartedly...sometimes the depression is necessary for you to become unavailable to those who really don’t do you very much good in the first place.
Try to make use of your “down time”. Don’t sleep. Read, paint, dump your junk drawers in the middle of the floor, put on some music or turn on a classic movie on TV and weed through that junk drawer. Dump your dresser drawers and purge your old clothes...or just organize those drawers, re-fold those wadded up shirts and stuff. Do anything...just don’t sleep. You don’t want to give yourself sleeping sickness.
Amber and Lavender is my famous Sunshine formula. Maybe you need to wear it as an oil or use my Sunshine Bath Salts. I think you need to bath in it AND wear it!
