Who u play for,700/800 avg,u wouldn't be looking,teams would be looking 4 you,just because u get on base its not necessary a hit.Errors and fielder choices are not hits,they count only for base percentage.

Maybe he's good at taking a walk...walks are hits in Utrip

Walks are not hits,they are not consider at even at bats,walks are just good only for base percenteage.

Its not a hit regardless of what USSSA has,if you know how to keep a right average it wont cant as a hit.

When in the conference you use on base percentage. Which means a walk is as good as a hit.

You keep a right average based on the rules of the game you're playing. If you beat out a grounder but don't step on the Orange bag, and ump calls you out, are you still putting single In the book? Play by the rules and figure out How well you do per the rules of the game.

Ive been keeping a booking for over 30 years and im not perfect but I think I know the difference in a hit,walk,error or fielders choice or even a sac fly,a walk is not a hit,it just adds to youre on base percentage.

If we were talking about keeping book for baseball, or ASA, I'd completely agree with you. I never said I agreed thatbabwalk should count as a hit, but according to the rules of the association, it does. I don't like the rule, it should only count as OBP, but it doesnt in Utrip and you should keep the book according to the rules of the game you're playing

I don't care what USSSA says about a walk being a hit,its not,if it were everyone would be batting 800 or better almost,but keep it the way you wont to and I will keep it my way{the right way]Have a great season with all hitting over 800.

USSSA uses obp not avg. So if you are calculating avg then you're right. And for what its worth, guys still aren't hitting 800 on the year I dont care if you go by obp or avg.

Check the Utrip rulebook again superstar. This isn't MLB where walks don't count.
