E Rec States

Hey, look at that, a team thats been playing Rec all year won the Rec State.

All those teams that people were scared of because they had played E and dropped down to Rec for the States and clearly the two teams you should have been worried about have been Rec basically all year.

Hate to say I told you so...congrats to the winners, thanks for making me look good

There wont be any drama, theres nothing to argue about.

A team thats played Rec all year won the Rec State, not the teams that had dropped down from E that everyone was b###hing about.

Just like the D States, its the team nobody is worried about that won. Congrats to them and our buddy from Absolute Chaos who finished 2nd. Job well done guys.

No doubt about it...the only threads that people seem to have interest in here are those filled with drama about what E team is playing E rec this weekend, etc

Nobody seems to care about the D teams down at worlds from NC or how they are doing

Bootleggers is an up and down team, Apostles is not the same strong hitting team they were last year, and Kickback may have won or finished high in some tournaments early..... but so did my team Carolina Fusion? Didn't see much reason to bi*@# about them

Most people were going crazy over e teams bumped down like peak city, guardian, etc

Well I have not said a thing about people dropping down but I said if the rules were played right then you wouldn't have people dropping down to trophy hunt. I have always said for years , it doesn't matter how you start your year it matters how you finish. Its not about the team names , its the players that people whinned about. When people say this team that team, well I got told that people whinned about why cant we have a HR. That's why some played other sanctions until the tournaments gave everyone a HR. Look if you want to hit HR , then go play Mon-Thursday. Tournament ball has always been competitive and its the chemistry of your team that gives you wins. I have seen everyone pick on the lower classes and say the ones that play Rec E aren't worth a trophy or prize. Well I just sit here and look at it like you have no clue what your saying. So when the teams are bumped at the end of the year. Don't bump the team name, bump everybody that is on that roster. Then if 5 guys want to go build their own team and think your going to stay in rec E then your wrong. Everyone thinks they can get around the directors and think its ok to bring 2 or 3 guys that played C or D the year before to a Rec E state. Well guess what it didn't help you cause you went home Saturday and the teams that have a mixture of an outlaw team and some of another team to play rec E, well that didn't help cause you didn't make it either. I wish all the teams the best of luck the rest of the year, but for my guys. 2015 is not far away and to be a better team than the year before. You build chemistry and keep everyone you have. Stretch, I don't disagree. But, look at the MVP for the E state champs - he played as many E-Rec games as the E-Rec champion team. Just bringing that up from a "drop down when convenient" standpoint.

And, like you said, congrats to the winners (of both divisions).

So the guy who won the E State MVP played E Rec earlier this year? Is what what you are saying?

I dont see where 1 person moving between E and E Rec really makes that much of a difference to be completely honest with you. Hopefully he started in E Rec and had the opportunity to move up and play E and he took it.

None the less the point of my post was all those teams people were crying about playing Rec, none of them won. Thats all.

I played 1 rec tournament all year lol the JAKD tournament and we won it. Then i played e with them twice when the bootleggers moved up and they got dropped again and i went with the dirtbaggers? How can 1 player make a team? They dont.

No disrespect but the winner of the E rec was a team of another name. H2 custom homes. Maybe I am reading what u said wrong but the top 2 teams have played E rec all year. I personally don't know the guy that won the mvp but great guy and hope he is recovering from his ankle folding over in the IF game.

My understanding of the teams that dropped down to play in the E rec states had lost a lot of players which is whatever. I just know everybody thinks that class is a joke. If it is then let them put their team in there and see how they do. But play the rules like we had to do. Atleast we all know E rec is E and so on up.

Well I started the year off with a solid team but after one tournament in Wilson over 3/4 of my team left me high and dry to go play for a team that was fully sponsored. And the crappy part was that no one told me the quit until 3 days before the next tournament. I understand that most people would rather play for a team that's fully sponsored but it was just done in a sneaky way. The bad part is that we beat the team they went to. I would not have cared but the way they went about it hurt because I considered those guys as great friends. I still consider them friends and I wished them all the best if luck and they ended up placing 2nd in states. I still wish them luck for what's left of the season.

For one BJ everybody knows how softball works. Coaches recruit thru out the year. I had asked about two guys on that team and then a very good close friend of mine that wasn't there when we played ya told me about those two guys. So I gave them the opportunity. Its a decision that they made. I have lost a lot of friends in my past from softball but things happen man. Rumors flow around and its whatever. I even remember asking you to play one weekend and then I really had no room and yes some of those guys are on my team but u know that I don't tell people hey I will pay for all your stuff just to get them there. It is what it is. I even told one of my guys if you don't show back up for your team on sunday I don't want him. Its called being loyal to the ones your there with at that time. We all burn our bridges for some reason or another. But when guys have an opportunity to come to a team that is going to have the same guys weekend after weekend. Wouldn't you come also. Think about it. But being your friends is a personal issue. Has nothing to do with softball. But Absolute Chaos is not just friends we are a family. Every team should be like that. So maybe I don't make sense to you but watch calling out my guys like that OK. Thank you.

I guess it came out wrong but i wasn't calling out anybody. I said I don't blame them at all. I would have to. And I've wished y'all guys good luck a lot. Yalls team is like a family and yes every team should be like that. You have a great group of guys, no doubt, and yes y'all have came a long way since the beginning of the season.

Agree and congrats to Chaos. It'll just be interesting to see if Johnny and his team move up after their building year or if they spend another year building.

One I don't play those rules of lets stay in a class for 5 years. We all have decided to come back next year together. So yes Absolute Chaos is going to E and will play some D class like others should. It only makes your team better to play against teams in a higher division. So there are a lot of teams that need to go up and grow up as well. The team I started with at the beginning of the year was Rec E and it was called a building year for me as a coach. I had been out of loop for a lil while and came back and now its back in the blood line and hope I got some good years left in me to do this. I have a young team and it only gets better from here on out. Everyone knows when you can keep the same guys its all about the chemistry.
