got to love it. a guy playing c worrying about a e rec team. my man plays c ball. I am so proud of you. how bout play go play b and let d teams play c and e teams play d and e rec teams would gladly play where they are suppose too. its all about money. that c team he plays with doesn't make squat for usssa. all the money is generated by e and e rec teams!!!

If you think your insulting me, whatever dude your just making yourself look like an ass. I signed up to play at a certain level. That level used to be E. But times have changed and E is the new D so I and a lot of people I've played with over the years are in rec now. The fact that your...what C, means your comments on rec will be pretty much irrelevant. Unless you can help clean up the divisions then by all means I'm behind you.

If your an E team saying that then put your money where your mouth is and play D for the rest of the year, not just a tournament or two, THE REST OF THE YEAR. And don't puss out and drop back down to E when you aren't successful.

Absolute 100% brutal honesty here....... your right. But sadly not for the reason you think. There are so many freaking teams in E, that another division had to be created for the TRUE E teams to compete in. Instead of bashing on some teams playing were they belong maybe you should look at the E bracket alittle more closely???

Scottie I personally don't know you but I have played all the way up to C class cause my team was that good not me. Kwik Kuts is a good team and they play C and D some. I have nothing against teams who play up, and nothing against kwik kuts either. I enjoy watching those guys play cause their good. I'm against people who play down and the notion that teams play rec cause their not man enough to play E.

Well I wont bow my head down cause I play E rec. I have been up there where they were at cause my players were that good. U lose and win. Its a simple game of softball. I believe in playing by the rules not adjusting every wkend. Playing classes A-E or rec E doesn't make anybody better than another. Go watch the majors my lord.

But I won't put my money on a single A team beating a MLB team. Just sayin'. I always get caught up in these arguments bit it won't change anything. Tired of talking bout it and moving on

Just my two cents. I'm sure it will be roughly criticized. There's more than one way to skin a cat, so I'll throw out some terrible ideas.
1. Split E up into upper and lower divisions
God knows there are enough teams to do this. Have the upper teams play national rules to help them prep for Worlds since they don't wanna move up.
2. Make a team in E and Rec that trophies, play at least two tournaments up a division.
I know Andy has moved up three Rec teams and hopefully a fourth after Minions blew through the Rec division the last time they played. All those teams are playing around a .500 record since moving up and probably won't trophy when teams like Unreal, G&J, and Maxed Out get to stay in E and beat each other up to see who's gonna win.
3. Break out the Rec- division.
Oh yeah! We could perpetuate the problem and open up the even lower division. Things that could be done to prevent teams from playing down in this division would be to not award them any prize, bump any team that wins permantely to Rec+, and publicly humiliate after ejecting any jerk that would play that low that could hit the ball out.
4. STFU and let Andy do his thang.
Everyone knows how competitive it is out there. If you don't like losing, go to your mama's house and see if she'll let you win at some checkers. Unless you play for Resmondo maybe, you're not getting paid to be out there. Most of us drop 20-30 bucks for these things. Be competitive and have some fun.
Bottom line- There are enough teams between E and Rec that a third class could be made somewhere but I'm too irrelevant for my opinion to matter. I just enjoy the F outta this game and am thankful everyday I get to put a glove on and play some ball. I would however like for the National rules to change their HR rule. That just seems like some communist BS that people all the way up to D can't hit a HR. It seems like that rule was made to keep teams from playing down, but all it has done is teach guys to choke up and take half swings. We are some grown ass men, let us get out there and drop some f'n bombs.

PS - Scottie, if you're the SS for Fusion. I seriously hate you bro. I led off with a late inning double and the guy hitting behind me goes backside 9 times out of 10, but not this time. Instead he hit a ground ball right to you and got me tagged out. I'm pretty sure if my coach had a knife, he would've shanked me at some point for getting too far off. Rick is crazy. I heard the only reason he's not in prison is because they can't find the bodies.

Don't know why I feel the need to explain myself, but I guess I don't want any spectators coming and heckling me. I was just making fun of the guys that get on here and talk a big game and go out there hitting soft rollers to the SS. Like Scottie said about himself, I'm a sarcastic A Hole. We don't keep track of our avg. unless one of the girls keeping our book gets it. Its not like I could just put myself on a D team if I did hit that well regardless. I think these guys from the C and D teams are frustrated that their tournaments aren't making or barely make it because there are 15-20 teams playing E.
I did notice that Andy updated the bump list and has Minions back in E and Maxed Out is nationally E but has to play D which I applaud.
I think after Worlds we should have a tournament where we pay 20 bucks to put our name in a hat and draw teams. Only problem with that idea is that the guys that take themselves too serious would get pissed getting stuck with a guy that can't catch a can of corn.

I like the upper and lower E idea. And agree about the homeruns. Why would a middling E or D team want to stay in E or D if they can drop down where the rules are pretty much the same.
And yeah I'm the little ss for fusion LOL! You surprised me being that far off that I nearly rolled my ankle changing directions to chase you. Cause I was all set to just look at you and go to first.

You're right. We played e the first four tourneys and didn't even get to 500. There are teams every year that don't belong in e. The funny thing is when the play NSA or Freedom and they are playing C or D they come to usssa and play e. How is that right. We have a decent team but a lot of young guys that don't understand us getting our brains beat out on a weekly basis. Yes we dropped to rec and won. We played the best we played all year. The only way to fix it is to take the freedom roster rules. You can only play down one class and only have two players from an upper class and play down. So if you have 3 d players you must play d. And no d player can play rec. that's my opinion.

Like I said earlier. I played C in 2008-2009. Its a political. I wont bow my head down cause I do play E rec now cause that's where my team belongs but can play E class when the chemistry. Just cause a person plays on a team that plays C doesn't mean they are a C ball player. They play cause their team plays there. Its time to just open all classes and see what everyone has .
