The Carolina Merchants are hosting a benefit tournament for one of our team mates (Jake Austin) and his family on April 18 at Toisnot Park in Wilson. Jake and his wife Alison's twin boys were born Sunday, December 28, 2014 at just 23 weeks. Michael weighed just 1 lb 6 ozs and Malachi weighed 1 lb 7 ozs. Unfortunately after 3 weeks, Michael passed away on January 21 and Malachi has a long road to recovery as well. Any of you that have ever had the privilege of playing with or against Jake know that he is one of those people that is a joy to be around and would do anything for you!
