Welcome aboard, and thanks for posting! I know about the joy of rediscovering Kimba after a long time, I didn't wait that long, but I do know the feeling.
It's very interesting that you've named your boat after Kimba - so far I've heard only about naming cats or dogs after him.
Unfortunately, I didn't try the backwards playing of the title song myself, and so I can't help you with that.
