Bobbi set Laura up to find her and Scotty alone together in his apartment- Bobbi answered the door half-dressed and Scotty was passed out (which, obviously Laura didn't realize. I think she had slipped him a mickey? Maybe someone can confirm that, I'm not totally sure. ) Laura was upset and she ran away from Bobbi and got into a car crash. 
Rick saved her life (I think?).
