Ironically, I have never met Genie. That link (Rosemary & Ivor Francis) of the family tree moved to NJ sometime in the 50's, making it somewhat removed from our family in CT. I do remember my parents receiving Christmas cards from the Francis' for several years while I was growing up. But I think that was the extent of our communication.

I am the family archivist for our particular branch & recall only 2 items relating to the Francis clan: Genie's birth announcement from her parents to my parents & a copy of an 8mm movie reel (from Uncle Frank) copied onto VHS, of Genie's mom & mom's sister (Toni) dancing onstage at the Bushnell Auditorium in Hartford, CT around 1947.

Ironically, I never followed General Hospital. I did see an episode or 2 when I was home during the day & was pleased to see Genie realizing her dream of acting. I also used to see Ivor in bit parts-sometimes, playing a gruff sort of guy & enjoyed that also. He was great.

I hope that Genie knows what a dedicated group of fans she has. If enough people write the network about some sort of reunion episode, they might be receptive, as long as Genie is!
