I'm wondering how much her sanity was affected by her daughter's death. She's definitely walking a fine line between good and bad.
I loved the way Genie played the scene where she tells Cane that should won't deny it hurt that he replaced her with Jill (as his mom). She can be cold as steel, but then there are moments where her anger, bitterness, and thirst for vengeance give way to a deep sadness.
I'm hoping the goodness in Cane and Samantha came from Genevieve before she became twisted by life.
