I started watching Y&R about six months ago because I wanted to see what Tristan and Stephen were going to be up to. It feels like old home's week over there. It's so refreshing to watch a soap that truly values its vets, its history AND its fans! I can't wait for Genie to step into that playground. She's been sidelined for FAR TOO long! I think we all wanted to see her back on GH, but TPTB kept stringing her and us along. I'm so thankful that Maria reached out to Genie, and, this time, Genie reached back. We are going to be in for such a treat with Genie in the fold of all the brilliance that is on Y&R. It seems like a perfect fit: number one actress in Daytime [my opinion] coupled with the number one soap. PERFECT!!!!
You will love her store in Maine, Terri! You get such a better sense of GENIE by being there -- knowing how involved she is with all the items in the store and the feel of that place. It's a very special experience. Her staff are warm and welcoming too. Have a good time when you go!
