ALWAYS RIGHT BY MY SIDE by Gene Minix Sometimes the valley is lush and green. But, then it can be dry, dark and wide. But in it all, Praise the Lord, In it all, Jesus is always right by my side. He is there in the sweet of the day. And when the day is dark as the night. My Lord is always there to carry me through. He is near, Praise His name, never out of sight. When the load of life gets so heavy As it sometimes can do. And it pulls me down so low, I just give it to Jesus And He's always there to help carry me through. Yes, sometimes in this life burdens do come. Sometimes the mountain of sorrow is so high. Then my Jesus, holds my hand and gives comfort. And gently He wipes the tears from my eyes. Yes, sometimes the valley is lush and green. But, then it can be dry, dark and wide. But in it all, Praise the Lord, In it all, Jesus is always right by my side. © Copyright 2026, by Gene Minix.
