Thru A Glass Darkly

His death penalty at Calvary
is what saved you and I
when they nailed the spotless Lamb
upon the cross to die!
Tears were shed that day
by loved ones filled with grief,
but tears soon turned to joy
and a sense of great relief!
They triumphantly discovered
with heartfelt jubilation,
Christ had risen from the dead
to procure the world's salvation.
We know Jesus Christ lives
and shall reign forevermore...
we see thru a glass darkly now
until we meet on heaven's shore!
