WHAT HAPPENED TO YESTERDAY ? by Gene Minix What happened to yesterday ? Things have changed so. I remember those times so grand. Where did the good old days go ? There was a time here in the USA When we were so honored to show Just how much we love this old Republic. O, people, where did yesterday go ? Families gathered together in love. Family time was a time we loved so. Love for the family and for our neighbors. O, where did yesterday go ? Life was special, all lives did matter. We said prayers in school, raised the flag high. We were proud to be called an American. That was yesterday, but today ? Did yesterday die ? What happened to yesterday ? Where did those times go ? How I long again for yesterday.
