TEARS TO SMILES by Gene Minix Do you feel like crying sometimes When life is heavy with trials? Just look up to the Lord above. He can change your tears to smiles. It's true, the road of life Has many ups and downs. There are things that make you happy But, also, things that bring frowns. But always know God loves you Even when troubles seem to pile. And He will never leave you. He'll be right there all the while. He doesn't promise life will be a bed of roses He doesn't promise your skies will always be blue. But He does give you a grand promise That He will be right there to see you through. So even in times of trouble When nothing seems to go right. Just sing praises as Paul and Silas did In that cold prison that night. It just may be the walls are about to shake And your chains are going to break free. The doors are about to be opened.
