I BELIEVE THERE IS A HEAVEN

I've never been to Heaven,
But in the Bible we are told
There are mansions over there
On streets of purest gold.

And I believe the Bible.
Every word of it is true.
And I believe there is a Heaven
Somewhere beyond the blue.

And one of these days
When the Lord gives the command.
We'll leave this old earth
For a land not made with hands.

And, oh, what a day that will be
When we step on Heaven's shore.
We'll be with our loved ones there
Giving praise to Christ Jesus forevermore.

Yes, I believe the Bible.
Every word of it is true.
And I believe there is a Heaven
Somewhere beyond the blue.
