NEAR BROOK AND WILLOW TREE

I stopped my horse
Close by the willow tree.
And the near by brook
Brought sweet peace to me.

The wild flowers were in bloom
On this awesome summer day.
I got down from my horse
And I knelt down to pray.

And I could feel the love of God
All around me
As I knelt there by the brook
Near the willow tree.

I knew I was in God's presence
And how it humbled me.
It brought peace and joy to my soul
That day near brook and willow tree.
