OUR LORD HE HAS RISEN

Flee away, O, darkness.
My Lord lives today.
Victorious over death and grave.
O, darkness, flee away.

Morning light shines so bright.
Empty is the dark tomb.
The birds sing so sweetly.
See! The Easter lilies bloom.

Our Lord He has risen.
Never was a morning like today.
Christ Jesus lives, He lives !
The dark night is gone away.

No more the dark night.
Gone forever is the dark gloom.
Christ Jesus lives, Amen, He lives !
There is an empty tomb.

The dark night is gone.
The glorious morning we see.
Free from sin's curse
In Christ Jesus we have victory.
