Forevermore By Chris Jesus is alive and well and reigns forevermore; our blessed Lord and Savior the redeemer we adore! Jesus paid the debt we owed on an old rugged tree, long ago and far away on a mount called Calvary. An horrific sight it was for those who followed Him; the atmosphere was somber and the outcome appeared grim. He was crucified in agony with the purpose of saving man, but ascended into heaven to fulfill God's perfect plan. When they found the empty tomb it was a glorious discovery; the devil lost the battle and God won the victory! We still celebrate that day with out hearts in accord, remembering with gratitude the resurrection of our Lord! Matt 28:5-7 "Then the angel spoke to the woman. Don't be afraid he said, I know you're looking for Jesus who was crucified. He isn't here!! He has been raised from the dead just as He said would happen. Come, see where His body was lying. Now go quickly and tell His disciples He has been raised from the dead." |
