THERE IS A HOME WAITING

There is a home waiting
Far beyond the sky.
A beautiful home
There on high.

A bright mansion
On a street of gold
In a land where
We'll never grow old.

A place of peace
Where is no sin.
A place where only
The Christian can get in.

A place of beauty.
A place beyond care.
Oh, the joy that awaits
The child of God there.

Where time is counted.
It's a place of eternal years.
Where are no sorrows.
Where there are no fears.

A place where we'll gather
With love ones there.
And sweet memories
Together we shall share.

Yes, one day we'll bid this world
So long, up through the clouds sail.
And we'll go home to heaven
In that wonderful land to dwell.

There with Christ Jesus
In that place prepared we'll be.
Home with our Lord and Saviour
In that eternal city.
