POEM NUMBER 10,000

I have always loved to write.
I still love to write today.
I hope I can always be a blessing
In the words I have to say..

Maybe bring a smile to someone
On a dark dark day.
To help give courage and strength
To someone trying to find their way.

I love to pen down words about my Saviour.
How I love my Lord so true.
Maybe words written will help others see Jesus
In the way that I do.

I love to write poems of praise
To Christ Jesus above.
To thank Him for His goodness.
O, the wonder of His love.

Maybe words of a poem will bring
Memories of a special moon lit night.
Maybe something written
Will make your day shine bright.

For this desire that burns within me
To write and to share,
I thank the Good Lord above
For putting it there.

For all of you who tell me
From time to time
That you enjoy my poetry
And you find something special in the lines

I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It means so much to me.
And I hope God continues to give me words
That I might write much poetry.

And today, as I sit here and write
This poem so very special it's true.
With these thoughts I give
Poem number ten thousand to you.
