Christmas Trappings By Chris Be not carried away by the Christmas decor and shopping for gifts at your favorite store, or with lights that twinkle and glow, or the worldly glitz we so well know.... Christmas is more than mom's gingerbread, and a jolly old man all dressed in red. it's more than a turkey with it's trimmings, mistletoe, holly, and ornaments glimmering. Christmas is not just a day in December or an annual occasion we fondly remember. as believers we celebrate with mirth because it's the season of our Savior's birth. let us profess that our Jesus lives on long after the trappings of Christmas are gone!! |
