AS CHRISTMAS DAY DRAWS NEAR

How wonderful is felt
This time of year
When we are all excited
As Christmas Day draws near.

And may I take this time
To wish you health and joy.
And to all the children
Under the tree a toy.

And I pray to each home
There be plenty to eat.
Turkey and ham and the sides
And plenty of sweets.

But, most of all let's remember
It's the birth of our Saviour and King.
May you know Christ Jesus
And the peace and joy He brings.

And when we know Him as Saviour
Whether we have materials things or not, its true....
We are so very rich indeed.
How Christ Jesus loves you and me.

So let us give thanks to Jesus.
Let us celebrate the birth of our King.
How I praise my Lord and Saviour.
He is my everything.
