ON A JOURNEY DOWN HERE by Gene Minix All God's children here are on a journey To that wonderful promised land. O, what a day it will be When we all join the heavenly band. We are all on a journey down here. Our eyes looking toward Heaven above. We are just pilgrims on this earth. Our home is that land of perfect love. We joyfully work for our Lord down here Through this land of which we roam. Telling the Good News to all Of that wonderful Heavenly home. One of these days that is coming We shall see our Saviour's face. And no more down here to roam Clasped in His dear embrace. We are just pilgrims down here. Our home is sweet Heaven above.
