ONE DAY CLOSER by Gene Minix One day closer with each passing day. One day closer to Jesus' coming again. With each day that passes by We're one cay closer than we've ever been. Soon from heaven Jesus will come. On a cloud as He said, He will descend. Coming for to take His bride away. And we're closer now than we've ever been. Steadfastly wait and pray That the lost will receive Jesus today. That they'll not be left behind When He comes to take His bride away. One day He is coming as He said. Oh, the happiness He will bring. We'll rise up to meet Jesus in the air, Our Saviour, Lord and King. And with each passing day We're one day closer than we've ever been.
