Peculiar People By Chris We're a peculiar people we don't blend in with the crowd. we shout and sing God's praises and often can get loud! We clap our hands rejoicing and live in expectation and need no special reason to give God adulation. We are called fanatics if we publicly pray, giving allegiance to Jesus in demonstrative displays. We aren't ashamed to profess Jesus and His love, while glorifying Father God who reigns from up above. If we waved our banners with names of football teams, shouted from the bleachers and at our heroes screamed, We'd be considered sports fans and would be accepted readily, but since we cheer for Jesus we're not tolerated you see. So call us a weird assembly, we'll not back down one bit. we've been called to represent Father, Son and Holy Spirit! |
