SEPTEMBER HAS COME by Gene Minix September has come. Miss Autumn soon to appear. Oh, that beautiful season. I love it so dear. Nights are getting cooler And I welcome them here. September has come And Miss Autumn will soon appear. The cornstalks in the field stacked. And pumpkins placed near. The apples are ripe for picking. Autumn is about here. The days are getting calmer. The nights feel so fine. The moon is big and bright at night. I love the sweet Autumn time. Soon smoke will rise up from chimneys And then drift away. It will be sweater weather. I love an Autumn day. The air is full of sweet smells There's something about a misty Autumn day. September has come around And Miss Autumn is on her way. © Copyright 2024, by Gene Minix.
