JESUS COMES AND STANDS

Sometimes in this life
The storms come along.
The winds blow hard.
They are so strong.

The world tosses
You all about.
And that old devil
Tries to make you doubt.

But, in the midst of it all
Jesus comes and stands by me.
And I know all will be well.
The sunshine I shall see.

And one of these days
When old Jordan I see.
I won't be afraid to cross.
For Jesus will cross with me.

And on the other side
Sweet Heaven I will see.
And it's all because
Jesus stood by me.
