MY LITTLE CORKY by Gene Minix She comes to me with little paw taps. Calling me to come and play. And I think sometimes just to make sure I am okay. She's more human than a lot of humans I know. She loves me true. With an unconditional love, she loves me. And I sure love her, too. We understand each other. What we do and what we say. She sure can brighten up a dark day. Sleeping at my head or side all snuggled, or maybe at my feet. And waking me at five in the morning with a kiss sweet. That's my little Corky and I sure love her so. She chose me one cold day. I took her into my hands............ and my heart and she will forever stay. She's family and she knows it , too. Happy as can be. The run of the house, toys all over the floor.
