A DOWN WORLD, BUT AN UP PERSON

This may be a down world
In a lot of ways.
But, I don't let it get me down.
Hear what I have to say.

I don't depend on this world.
I look to Jesus above.
The world can be a cold place,
But Jesus wraps me in His love.

My trust isn't in this old world.
It doesn't have a hold on me.
May be a down world, but I'm an up person.
My trust is in Jesus above, you see.
