I STAND AMAZED

I stand totally amazed
Each and every day
That Christ Jesus
Can love in such a great way.

A love so wonderful that
It will never cease to be.
A love that gave all
For you and for me.

A love that brought
Jesus down from above
To die in our place.
O, the wonder of that love.

A love that took Him
To the cross of Calvary.
There paid the great price
That from sin we could go free.

Jesus never sinned a time,
But died in our place.
Died that one day
From sin we could go free.

He paid sin's awful price,
He died in our place
That one day we might
Look upon His face.

Washed and cleansed in His Blood
From my sin set free.
Born into the family of God.
O, how He loves even me.

I shall forever praise Him
For what He did for me.
I shall forever thank Him
Now and for all eternity.

Yes, I stand totally amazed
Each and every day
That Christ Jesus
Can love in such a great way.
