MY LORD RIDES THE SHIP WITH ME

Sometimes I feel like a ship
All alone on a stormy sea.
The waves come a crashing
As the storm closes in on me.

But then I feel a deep down peace
And I know God is there.
I know He's watching over me
And I'm safe in His care.

So I'll just ride out the storm.
My Lord's right here with me.
And I know He has control over all.
He is the Master of the sea.

What peace and assurance.
I have nothing to fear.
The Lord rides the ship with me
And I'm safe in His care.

So I'll sing a song of joy.
Even when the storm clouds roll.
My Lord is in the ship with me
And my God's in control.

Yes, there's a deep peace within me.
The storms of life I do not fear.
My Lord rides the ship with me
And I'm safe in His care.
