SPRINGTIME OUT MY WINDOW

It's hard to do my work
When the outdoors calls today.
Springtime out my window
And watching the squirrels at play.

It's hard to concentrate
On what I need to do
When butterflies flutter by my window
And the sky is so blue.

The sound of rippling waters
In the little rocky stream below.
Awesome rainbow colored flowers
And two kittens putting on a show.

It's hard to do my work
When the outdoors calls today.
Springtime out my window
Calling me to come out and play.
