The EIHL would like to congratulate the Humberwood Hurricanes on winning the EIHL Championship. The Hurricanes defeated the Mississauga North Stars 2 games to none in the final. The team deserves special mention as no team has won back to back since Season 29.

Their opponents, the Mississauga North Stars should also be congratulated on a great season and an excellent try in the final. The series was quite close and could have gone either way.

Also thanks to all the EIHL supporters both past and present that showed up yesterday for the festivities. It was a great turnout considering the so-so weather.
