I would like to cordially invite you to participate in the upcoming Breakaway Ball Hockey Tournament where you can vie for the Nav Bhatia Hyundai Indo Ontario Cup.  Come be apart of history as we launch the movie Breakaway by Alliance .  Trophy presentations conducted by the stars of the movie, centre stage at the Breakaway Mela on Sunday September 11, 2011 @ Chingacousy  Park in Brampton.

 

Here are all the details:

 

>Tournament to be held @ Chingacousy Park in Brampton

>This will be an outdoor tourney

>It will be a one day tournament that will take place on Sunday Sept. 11, 2011

>Looking for 6-10 teams

># of games TBD based upon the # of teams registered

>Format to be 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 based upon the # of teams

>10 man maximum player roster + one goalie

>Players must be of Indian heritage or have direct lineage to India via their parents and/or grandparents

>OBHA rules

>Certified referee’s

>Open to all caliber of play – Tier 1/2/3/4/5

>Ceremonial ball drop with dignitaries & stars

>Breakaway “Speedy Singh” merchandise giveaways for Game Stars, All-Star Team, &  Most Valuable Players

>

Media & sponsor giveaways>

Cash Tournament $$$$$$$$$  First Place  - $1000                                                                Second Place -   $500

                                                                Third Place - $200

***Cash prize based upon a 10 team format

 

Deadlines:

>Team Roster/Registration Fees are due Friday September 2, 2011

>Team registration fees are $200/team

>Limited spots available
