Fred, is a 4 time runner up Champion (One of them was a 60 dog stake at the Lake State championship) He has also sired the current Grouse Futurity winner (Tims Setter Meg). Fred is a nice handling bird finder that is a pleasure to walk behind. He is a real Bird/trial dog. Along with Grouse and Woodcock hunting/trialing, he hunts quail in AZ.
Dam (Dixie) has won two 30 plus dog Derby Classics (Dell Todd Derby Classic and the Eaton Derby Classic) Dixie is a real bird finder that runs a medium race in the woods. She covers ground and digs up birds that other dogs pass by. You can run her in trials or hunt over her with good results in both. Dixie will find you birds even on the worst days. She is a go to hunter that is also used as a guide dog.
