KC has been run extensively on Grouse, Woodcock and Pheasant. KC is a medium range Cover Setter that hunts within Bell range when in heavy cover. She runs with style and a 12 o’clock cracking tail. She points her birds with a high head and a poker straight 12 o’clock tail. She is solid on point, but needs more work on running pheasants.
KC loads on command, controls with both whistle and voice commands. She turns and comes on whistle command and is collar conditioned. She is house broke and will not go in her kennel if you let her out every day to do her business. She backs and hunts dead bird on command but does not retrieve. She is not a habitual barker, but will bark if an animal or unknown person comes around the yard.
I am selling her because currently I have 3 dogs and only need 2 for wild bird hunting and guiding at a local preserve.
