I turned 80 myself a few months ago and still kicking. I have 3 setters and a beagle. We run the dogs regularly here on the farm. Regrettably, our grouse numbers have declined significantly around here, so that last year I didn't hunt them much. I usually bought a NY hunting license too and last year I passed. Plenty of rabbits for the beagle though. I still have a coup of homers to work the dogs, although they got thinned down this past winter by a Coopers Hawk (only about 24 left). I would like to take on a setter pup, but at my age I would have to plan on passing it on to someone else eventually. Carry on friend!
