Or who first gave to Him, and it will be given back to him again? Because of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things; To Him is the glory for all ages. Amen!"
Rom 12;2 " Do not be configuring yourselves to this age, but be transforming yourselves by the renewing of your mind, to the end that you may be discerning what is the will of God- what is good and acceptable and perfect."
Rom 12;16 " Be not getting presumptuous in your own opinion."
Rom 13;10 " Love does not work ill to your neighbor. Therefore love is the fullness of the law."
Rom 13;14 " Put on the Lord Jesus Christ and take no fore-thought for the flesh to fulfill it's covetings."
Rom 14;17,18 " FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT EATING AND DRINKING, BUT RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PEACE AND JOY IN HOLY SPIRIT; for he that does service to the Christ in this is acceptable to God and approved to men."
Amazing how man has attempted to be in God's kingdom by works. Man has also been remarkably presumptuous about not needing God; or relying on personal efforts.
Awesome that our righteousness- right standing- is through one source; Christ. The kingdom is being set up now for that glorious next stage as mankind is corrected and retrained to this new way of life which is currently getting new backdrops organised.

1 Cor 12;16 " For who knew the mind of the Lord that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ."

Hi Ross Excellent post! Thank you. It is true that most humans are relying on their own works, their own efforts, rather than on God. Things will change for the better when people start looking to God through Christ.

Our Lord is increasingly awesome as He leads us through this incredible truth!
Isaiah 54;17 " No instrument formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall prove to be lawless. This is the inheritance of the servants of Yahweh and their righteousness is from Me declares Yahweh."
Isaiah 55;11 " So shall My word be that goes out of My mouth, IT WILL NOT RETURN TO ME VOID; but will accomplish that which I please, and will prosper in that where I sent it!"
1 Cor 14;26(b) " Let all things be done to building up."

As a child I recall constantly doing things to be noticed. Sometimes went to extremes to draw that attention. This was like trying to have confidence in the flesh.
No longer!
His grace is immeasurable; our position if fixed/set in Him. Adopted into His line as sons of God at our appointed/allotted time. Transferred into His kingdom by The work of Christ.
Colossians 1;13 " Who rescued us out of the authority of the darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,"
Welcome to the kingdom of God as He had arranged before the world began. Awesome!!

G'day Leonard from Kansas; His love never fails. Everything seen is indeed temporary, and the things we cannot see are on-going- eternal. Looking ahead clearly is a blessing knowing that true love is actually true- not possibly true, or maybe true- actually true. Perfect love drives away/out all fear, in my opinion, because of the depth and security that nothing can take us from the love of God due to the work of Christ for us little individuals.
