G'day All, Interesting that the tower of babel introduced the different languages so that communication would be difficult. I see a similarity to those differences in the history of doctrinal disagreement between the religions. Could this be so that people are not getting the truth in their minds so that they can not claim self righteousness instead of being in Christ? Babel introduced chaos and the need to find others speaking the same language- religions have also done that. Still: all have been consigned to disobedience so that all will be shown mercy. The master plan is awesome

Titus 2;11-15 " For the grace of God, bringing salvation to all men, has shone forth putting us under discipline in order that denying ourselves of ungodliness and worldly covetings we should live in this present age in a sober-minded and godly manner, prepared to welcome the happy hope and forth-shining of the Great God and our saviour Christ Jesus, Who gave Himself up on our behalf, that He might redeem us from all manner of lawlessness, and purify for Himself a people as His own treasure, zealous of noble works. Be speaking as to these things and exhorting and reproving with all manner of authority. Let no-one despise you."
Exactly why the next quote is inspirational as to the ultimate purpose;
Titus 3;7 ' That being justified by His grace,we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
The punishment/correction of mankind, and all the false doctrines, is to establish the fullness of the grace beyond measure- ergo very successful.
Thanks Ross for your posts. Good to hear from you. Great quotes. We are learning about the knowledge of good and bad and about truth and error. One day, all will know the truth!
Cheers Margaret

G'day Margaret, The truth is pretty glorious- literally sets us free. When considering the fact that the love of God is immeasurable- so much falls into place about the process through which we pass as being necessary to see cause and effect, consequential thinking. Today we are surrounded by cover ups and alleged answers to our questions: the flesh trying to explain the spiritual truth is far off the grid. Can understand why Paul pointed out that when he was a child he thought like a child- spiritual growth is awesome.
Settling back into life after this virus stuff. Seems a bit like a test that the "leaders "went through to tweak their way to bring mankind under their power. The law changes are pretty full on: empowering the law to instigate our protection as they see fit. Still, all part of the plan.
His love never fails. Grasping that concept requires the spiritual understanding. Praise to Christ for His efforts and love.
