I have been spending quite a lot of time lately trying to figure out why some platforms feel so much smoother than others when I am playing. It seems like every time I switch between different websites, the graphical fidelity and the actual response time of the interface fluctuate wildly. Some games load in a split second and look like high-end video games, while others stutter and feel like they were made a decade ago. I am really starting to think that the specific companies behind the software play a much bigger role in the overall quality of the experience than I originally gave them credit for. Does anyone here actually pay attention to the developers when choosing where to place their bets, or does it not really matter in the long run?
