Lately I’ve been paying more attention to online privacy after something weird happened while I was traveling. I connected to public Wi-Fi at a café and later started getting login alerts from apps I barely even use. Nothing serious happened, but it definitely made me rethink how exposed personal data can be online. Since then I’ve seen more people recommending VPN services, especially when using shared networks or browsing outside home. I’m curious how much difference they actually make in daily life. Do most people use them only for security reasons, or are there other benefits you noticed over time?
