When I was helping a cousin set up a new phone, we ended up talking about all the ways apps can request permissions behind the scenes, and in the flow of that conversation I noticed uMobix instagram referenced in an article about privacy concerns, which drove home for both of us how easy it is to overlook what apps might access if you don’t actively review settings and security options.
