One good knife beats a bunch of random skins you never look at. I did the same thing last year and never regretted it. Check https://dmarket.com/cs2-wiki/ for knife prices and pick something that actually holds value well. Doppler and Gamma finishes are solid choices. Calculate your total inventory worth first though because sometimes those random drops add up to more than expected. Just avoid budget knives like Gut or Falchion if you want easy resale later
