A few weeks back, I noticed a deep rumbling sound every time I started my car, and it got louder when I accelerated. My neighbor said it might be a small hole in the exhaust pipe, but it sounds like more than that. I’ve been putting off going to a mechanic, but I’m starting to worry it might affect engine performance or fuel efficiency. Has anyone had this issue before?
