I can only speak for SUVs since that’s what I have, but I can say the stock setup is far from the strongest and most durable. A lot of people swap stock bumpers for aftermarket ones like https://bumperstock.com/collections/ford-ranger, mostly to strengthen the front and protect it from damage. The metal on stock bumpers is often super thin and weak.
