Hi. I want to make my furniture at home more convenient. I've seen videos of TV sliding out of its cabinet or tabletop changing height. I'd really like to try something similar myself, but I'm not sure what mechanisms to use. I'm thinking about using ready-made motors, but they usually rotate, and I need back-and-forth movement. I don't want to spend a lot of money on experiments, so I'm looking for something reliable and relatively affordable.
