I’m looking for some advice on where to buy a good dress for my sister. Her birthday’s coming up soon, and I’d really like to get her something she’ll actually enjoy wearing — something stylish, but not over-the-top. She’s in her mid-20s, pretty into fashion, and tends to go for more classic or minimalist styles rather than anything too trendy or bold.

The problem is, I have zero experience shopping for women’s clothing, and every site I check just feels overwhelming. I don’t even really know what brands are considered decent these days — I’m aiming for something that looks and feels high-quality without costing a fortune.

If anyone has suggestions for stores (online or otherwise) that are known for well-made, elegant dresses — preferably with a good return policy in case I mess this up — I’d really appreciate it.
