Interesting to read both of your takes. I haven’t gone through a full migration myself yet, but I did work on a smaller project where we refactored parts of an app into .NET Core, and even that small change made deployment smoother. I think the hardest part is convincing management that the long-term gain is worth the short-term pain, especially when the old system is “still working.”
