Blue gems are special Case Hardened skins that have mostly blue coloring instead of the usual mix of colors. They're really rare and expensive because the blue pattern is completely random when each game skin gets created. Most Case Hardened items have a mix of gold, silver, and blue, but true blue gems are almost entirely blue which makes them super valuable to collectors
